Azeem turns actor with Nishedajne!
Former Police officer and active politician Abdul Azeem has turned as an actor with a new film called Nishedajne.The film which stars Adi Lokesh in a major role was launched recently.Though many Police officers like Sangliana, Kempaiah, Ashok Kumar have been an inspiration for many cop capers, this is the first time that an ex-Police officer perfoming on screen.What made Abdul Azeem turn to acting? Azeem says, "Many people have approached me for acting in their films.I have given my consent to this particular film as this film has a message of national integration.
I play a cop here who strives hard to retain communal harmony.I am very much fascinated by this role' says Azeem."I had interviewed him for crime episodes previously.While working on this film, I thought that Azeem would be the ideal choice for this role" says Padmanabh who has the credit of bringing Azeem on the screen for the first time.Padmanabh says this film is mostly inspired by the real incidents and he has added a cinematic touch to it.
He also plans to shoot some of the portions of the film in Karachi."I have taken some incidents like the attack on IISC.Actually the investigation team moves to Karachi for further investigations.We have already talking to the concerned authorities for shooting in Karachi.Let's see what happens" reveals Padmanabh.
