Meera Jasmin back to Kannada

Meera Jasmine is back into the Kannada film industry with a new flick.The national award winning actress will play the role of the younger sister to hat-trick hero Shivarajkumar.Director Sai Prakash, who has 87 films to his credit including hits like Tavarige Baa Tangi, will be directing the film."This will be no different" says Sai Prakash, who is known for high voltage emotional dramas."The theme is to portray the ideal relationship between a brother and sister.

Since Radhika is not available, who has been playing sister's role in my previous films, I have chosen Meera Jasmine.She is the apt choice for the film" said the director."She liked the story line and happy to act with Shivarajakumar" he added.Sai Prakash is now badly looking for a success as his films performed poorly in the box office in succession, including his latest release Lava Kusha.Earlier releases like Tavarina Siri, Odahuttidavalu, Parodi, Yugadi have also lost money.

This will be the third time for Meera Jasmine in Kannada.The actress, who is known for expressive eyes, earlier acted in Mourya and Arasu, both with Puneeth Rajkumar.Shridevi Pictures will produce the film.
