Mayura comes back - but not the historical film.Remember 'Mayura' the most famous historical film about Emperor Mayura Verma which was released in 1975.Dr.Rajkumar made the film most memorable films of all times with his wonderful performance and disguises.Now his son Puneet Rajkumar is all set to play the role of Mayura.

No, this is not a remake of the old film or based on the life of Mayura Verma, but a social fiction story of Shobhan.Apart from the script, dialogues Shobhan will also be directing this film.The film is being produced by Kanakapura Srinivas who has given some films like 'Yuvaraja', 'Santha', 'Sriram' in the past.Sandha of 'Kaadhal' fame and Shraddha Arya plays the female leads of the film.The film is scheduled to go on floors from December 14.
