Sudeep is 'Theertha' now!

Just when his old films like 'Gooli', 'Kaamannana Makkalu' and 'Mussanje Maathu' are piling up for release, Sudeep is acting in a new film called 'Theertha', which is directed by Sadhu Kokila.Sadhu ,who has the reputation of directing some of the bigwigs like Shivarajkumar, Darshan and Upendra,  is directing Sudeep for the first time.Sriram-Kumar-Gopi, who produced films 'Ekadanta', 'News', is producing this film.The film was launched recently.'Theertha' is the story of a man whose upbringing is not good, says Sadhu Kokila.

Sudeep is playing the role of Theertha while Ananth Nag is playing the role of his father for the first time.'Though the hero is pure-hearted, circumstances force him to be rude and uncouth.How he recovers forms the crux of the film' says Sadhu.Telugu actress Saloni is the female lead while Avinash and Doddanna are  part of the starcast.Gurukiran is providing music for the film.
