Prakash is back. After a disaster in the form of 'Shree' starring Vijay Raghavendra and Jennifer Kotwal, Prakash is back with a contemporary film with a classic touch through 'Milana'.Though the film does not boast of any new story and which is in the lines of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and 'Arya', the film stands apart because of the way it is told.Prakash has followed a classy narration through out the film.First the story.

Puneeth Rajkumar is Akash who is a Radio Jockey by profession. He marries Parvathi Menon aka Anjali at his parents instance.Akash is shocked to hear that Anjali has another love story to tell and wants a divorce in the first night itself.Akash immediately agrees to her request and sets a course of action in that direction. He also tries to look for Hemanth (lover of Anjali!) and tries to unite him with Anjali.

But Akash, Anjali as well as the audience are in a shock when found that Hemanth is not the right type to Anjali.Akash helps Anjali to overcome the situation and helps her to do MS in the US of A.Just when Anjali starts liking Akash, divorce separates them. What happens next? Better to watch it on the silver screen. The major attraction of the film apart from the screenplay is the classy performances by the lead artistes.

Puneet Rajkumar and Parvathi Menon excel throughout the film, particularly in the climax. They are the major attraction of the film.Rangayana Raghu and Sihikahi Chandru provide the comical relief.Mukhyamantri Chandru, Sumithra, Nagatihalli Chandrashekar do their bit with ease.Krishna Kumar's cinematography is pleasant throughout.

Mano Murthy's music is quite impressive.'Ninnindale Ninnindale', 'Anthu Inthu', 'Male Ninthu Hoda Mele' are quite hummable.Though a couple of the songs reminds one of his previous songs in 'Mungaaru Male', Murthy has tried to make it more pleasant. The background score could have been much better. No qualms about Prakash and M S Abhishek's story, screenplay and dialogues.

One thing about 'Milana - The Colours of Love' which look like an ordinary film with just an ordinary title is that, the film won't disappoint you.Watch it without a miss!
