There was a rumour that Komal Kumar starrer 'Mr Garagasa' is a remake of last year's blockbuster 'Bheja Fry' which was itself a remake of french comedy 'Dinner Game'.'Mr Garagasa' indeed has shades of both the films but Dinesh Baboo has intelligently adopted the same theme to Kannada very differently.'Mr Garagasa' is the story of Muniya, a script writer by profession. He somehow manages to get a chance to tell a story to a famous film producer, Parthsarathy. In the process of story telling, Muniya accidentally and innocently makes some mistakes which leads to many confusions and even destroy the producer's family.

How he overcomes the situation and reunites the family forms the crux of the film.Dinesh Baboo, who is known for his light, simple and yet hilarious comedies has bounced back with this film after a long hiatus.Though this film has inspirations from the previous two films, Dinesh Baboo has made a script suitable for Kannada audience. The film has some minor lapses, yet Baboo manages to give you a wonderful film with some great moments.Truly 'Mr Garagasa' stands out as a great entertainer with no vulgarity.

Dinesh Baboo surely deserves a pat on his back for creating a film for the entire family. to Dinesh Baboo who has done a great and commendable job is none other than Komal.Komal who is known for his great timing and comedy sense has used the opportunity to the core.He is hilarious.Veteran Ananth Nag provides a great support as producer Parthasarathy.

Their combination scenes are rib tickling and leaves you craving for more.Other artistes like Nagabharana, Sudharani, Vanishree, Aishwarya, Ramesh Bhatt provide adequate support.Technically there is nothing great about the film, as Dinesh Baboo has concentrated mainly on story telling. The film runs for only two hours and has only one song.Manikanth Kadri has provided the song which is worth listening.

Rajendra Karanth's dialogues are excellent.Watch it without a miss !
