Jayaram plays a youngman in dire need of money to look after his family. He is forced to marry a rich girl, Daisy (Kaniha). What happens later forms the crux of the story. Narein plays an important role in the movie. Nedumudi Venu, Venu Nagavalli and Innocent form part of the heavyweight cast. Once again, Ilaiya Raja scores the music for a Sathyan movie and Vayalar Saratchandra Varma writes the lyrics. Venu is the cinematographer.
