Mammootty's banner Playhouse produces the movie. The film has the superstar playing a planter-cum-ganglord Virendra Mallaya. He goes to Chembanadu in Karnataka, to buy a coffee plantation. Soon, he finds that the place is run by criminals. He decides to clean up the place. What follows has much scope for action and comedy. Mukesh plays an important role in the film.
