Omar (Mohanlal) or OMR, as he is popularly known, is an immensely rich businessman whose business doesn’t remain confined to one country alone. He is sort of a mystery for many and there are people who even see him as a high profile criminal. Among the various business establishments run by him is an FM radio station, based in Kerala. The star attraction of this radio station is a group of nine girls, who go by the name 'Red Chillies'. Things take a twist on a New Year eve, when something happens and Omar's radio station and the 'Red Chillies' girls are in trouble. Omar rushes to Kerala and he is very much concerned about the ‘Red Chillies’ girls, who are employed under him. Mohanlal appears in a dashing and different get-up as Omar while the cast features prominent stars of Mollywood and some newcomers as well. 'Red Chillies' is all set to hit screens soon, as Mohanlal's first release in 2009.
