Heroines say no to S.J. Suriya

S.J.Suriya, who once was in a position to select and reject the stars, is now at the receiving end.The heroines are running away from the scene when it comes to act opposite the actor turned director, who has been branded as a flop hero.Recently Bhavana has refused to act opposite him in a film produced by Nick Arts Chakravarthi.

According to the sources, Bhavana said an instant OK when Chakravarthi contacted her for his forthcoming production.The young heroine, however, backtracked after knowing that she was expected to act as a pair of S.J.Suriya.Chakravarthi, according to a grapevine, got the same response from other heroines as well.

Even Nila, who was introduced by Suriya, in ‘Anbe Aaruyire’ is believed to have refused the offer.S.J.Suriya, who started his career as a director, was known for churning out hits one after another.His ‘Vaali’ (starring Ajith and Simran) and ‘Kushi’ (Vijay and Jyothika) were blockbusters.

The success catapulted him to the top position as director.His confidence encouraged him become hero of his own film.He acted as hero in his next film that had Simran as his pair.The film too became hit and his confidence grew stronger.He went on acting as hero in many films.

However, the confidence proved to be too strong to his own good.  From then on, none of the films he acted as hero became hit.His name has actually become synonymous to failure.It was a classic case of fall from grace for the poor director, who turned actor.Now the heroines are afraid to act with him.

They obviously don’t want to act in a film with a man who has failed to save any film for the past two years.It is said that the unit is determined to find a new heroine.They might get a new face but the critics feel that it would be advisable if Suriya rethinks about his acting career.They opine that taking up the role in which he has proved himself, i.e.
