Varshini not averse to lip lock
Varshini, who is acting in ‘Malarinum Melliya’, plays it cool when it comes to kissing on screen.The actor says French kiss is ok if it is essential to the script.The director of the film P.S.Selvaraj revealed in his recent press conference that Varshini was initially taken aback when the hero Vignesh suddenly kissed her on her lips.
The director was happy to capture the instant shock of the girl, as the scene precisely demanded such reaction.The director added “We caught her by surprise and hence caught her real reaction on screen.It worked out well.” The kiss was quite unexpected, as the script demanded it.After explaining the context, Varshini took it in her stride and decided to co-operate.
The intimate kiss was repeated with her wholehearted co-operationand the scene is said to have come out really well.The actress later said that she was not averse to such kisses on screen if there were important to the script.The movie is based on the love between an educated young man, who chooses to stay in the village to look after the agriculture instead of going abroad and a daughter of the local priest.Their love faces a new kind of threat and the movie deals with how they overcome the challenge.There are other surprises in the movie besides the hot kissing scene.
Vignesh, playing the lead role appears as an 80-year-old man in a scene.Varshini is pleasant and charming in the role of a village girl.She has reportedly displayed her beauty without inhibitions.P.S.
Selvaraj makes his debut as director in this film.He takes care of story, dialogues, screenplay and direction.
Soundaryan does the music while K.V.Mani hanled cinematography.
Sukumari Rajmanohar produces the film under the banner of Divyadarshini Productions.‘Malarinum Melliya’, is expected to hit the screens by September.
