Vijayakanth plays a bank manager who educates rural people to make the best use of the money they can avail of from the bank.
The film may have a political message too as the Loksabha elections are around the corner. Vijay's cousin Vikranth, Suja and Akshaya play important roles in the film. The movie is a thriller set in a village, it is reported. Sabesh Murali scores the music.
