C, Meenakshi Sundar C, the latest minimum guarantee hero in Kollywood, is coming up with yet another mass masala in 'Perumal'. Director Vincent Selva has spared no effort to woo the front benchers, say Kollywood insiders. Sundar C, in the title role, plays an employee in a travels company. While on official tour, He meets Dr. Alamu (Meenakshi) in Andhra Pradesh. It turns out that she is being chased by criminals for having witnessed a crime they committed. Perumal takes it upon himself to protect her against all odds, brings her to Chennai, outwit the baddies with his brawn and brain and everything ends well. In between, there are a few songs peppered with sufficient doses of glamour from Namitha. Kota Srinivas Rao plays the villain, Venkaiah, and Sudhir is in the role of Bhadra, his son, who assists his father in his criminal activities.
