Gamyam a 'classi' entertainer.
Directed by - Radha Krishna(Krish) Produced by - Sai Babu Jagarlamudi Music by - E S Murthy - Anil R Casts - Allari naresh, Sarvanand, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Giri bau, M S Narayana, brahmanandam,LB Sriram. Banner - First Frame Entertainment Gamyam is a good and qualitative Cinema.Director Radha Krishna comes up with an entertaining and thought provoking film. This is a perfect example of a director 'inspiring' by the ‘world of classic cinemas’ and telling the story in a completely different and unique style.Abhiram (Sharwanand) is the son of an affluent industrialist.Being born with silver spoon he never bothers to mingle up with poor people.
He also feels discomfort looking them.He falls in love with a doctor Janaki (Kamalinee) who is idealistic and serves for the society. He proposes to her and comes out to the streets and roams around the gullies to get her love. She likes him but is not sure of how he honest he is about love and his responsibility towards society. On his birthday party, the differences between them come out in the open and Janaki leaves the town.
Abhiram takes a journey on his motorcycle in search of his lover.During the course of journey, he meets a petty thief Gaali Sreenu (Allari Naresh). They bond together. He also learns many secrets of life in his way. Finally, by the time he reaches Janaki, he becomes a sensible person.
He feels the happiness in mingling up with poor people in the society.Rest of the film is how Abhiram's life changes during this journey.Allari Naresh is the main energy for the film.Allari naresh's character resembles to that of Surya's in Shivaputrudu and dominates the show with his comedy and energy.Sarvanand is also perfect in the shoes of a rich man's son.
Kamalini is apt in her role and there is moderate role for her to perform.Major part of the story runs only on Naresh and Sarvanand. On the technical side, dialogues by newcomer Nagaraju played very vital role in the film. The screenplay is impressive as there is no moment in the film that brings boredom for audiences.Lyrics by Sirivennela deserve very good mention.
Director Krish made the film out of nothing. It is really a challenge to entertain people without big story. The film's strength is lyrics and the direction.New director Radha Krishna shows that offbeat movies can be made entertainingly. He deserves praise for his honest effort and superb writing.
The film is worth-watching for more laughs, little sentiment and less grief.
