The film is being directed by debutant Anand. Siddharth, on a high after the thumping success of his 'Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam', plays another romantic role in 'Oye'. The film is being Produced by D Danaiah. Shamili, the younger sister of Shalini Ajit, comes back to the silver screen after a gap of about 10 years. Her most famous role as a child artiste was in Mani Ratnam directed 'Anjali'. Later, she played the role of a teenager in Mammootty-Mohanlal starrer 'Harikrishnans', in Malayalam.
