The film speaks out in anguish against rampant corruption, erosion of values and relationships and the threat posed by Special Economic Zones. It is through the eyes of an undertaker (LB Sriram) that the story unfolds. Teertha, Bujji and LB Sriram excel in their roles. 'Sontha Vooru' certainly makes us aware of what is happening around us in the guise of globalisation. Saketh Sairam provides the music for the film.
