Samudra. The film has been produced by V. Samudra and Nandamuri Mohana Krishna. Mandeep Takkar and Sneha Takkar play the female leads. Venkatadri Naidu (Tarakarathna) is sentenced to death by hanging, for killing seven people. His last wish is to sing at a concert, the proceeds from which should go to an orphanage. His wish is granted and the chief minister’s daughter, Shruthi (Mandeep Takkar), falls for him. Venkatadri dissuades her and tells her of his tragic past: Why he had to kill seven people and what remains to be done. The film has six songs set to tune by Srikant Deva. The mass entertainer would help Nandamuri Tarakaratna in reclaiming stardom, feels the filmmakers.
