‘Cheluvina Chilipili’: Pankaaj is back!

Critics and the audience may have ripped him apart for his ‘Chaitrada Chandrama’. But that hasn’t deterred S Narayan from making a film with his son Pankaaj again. ‘Cheluvina Chilipili’, a youthful love story, is a remake of Telugu superhit ‘Kotha Bangaaru Lokam’, stars Pankaaj and Roopika in the lead.

Ananthnag and Sumalatha pair up for the first time in the film, they play Pankaaj’s onscreen parents. Kote Prabhakar, Dwarkish and Rajendra Karanth are also in the cast.

S Narayan himself produced the film; he writes the lyrics as well. Songs of Micky J Meyer in the original has been retained in the Kannada version. Jagadish Vaali is the cameraman. P R Soundarraj is the editor.
