Arjun in and as 'Hoysala'

'Sangolli Rayanna', the historical film which was supposed to mark the return of Arjun Sarja to Sandalwood, has been postponed indefinitely. Arjun was supposed to play the role of Sangolli Rayanna.

So, Arjun will make a comeback to Kannada with Ramu's 'Hoysala'. Ramu had earlier announced a film with the same title many years back. Shivarajkumar was supposed to play the lead in the film. Now it seems Arjun has replaced Shivarajkumar as 'Hoysala'. Though the script has been finalised, the cast and crew is yet to be finalised. The film is scheduled to go on floors in August.

Meanwhile, 'Vaayuputra', the film through which Arjun is introducing his nephew Chiranjeevi as hero, is almost ready and will be released sometime next month.
