BC Patil returns with 'Salute'

Actor-producer-director B C Patil returns to the industry, after a gap of nearly five years, with ‘Salute’. Patil himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues apart from producing, directing and acting in this film.

The movie is based on the life of B C Patil himself, who was once a police officer. The film is about an honest police cop who quits his profession to join politics and then takes on the corrupt system.

Patil plans to show the significance of "Salute" in the present day system. NICE proprietor Ashok Kheny plays a Chief Minister in this film. Ashwini plays the female lead while Vijay Koundinya plays the main villain in this film.

Sai Karthick, who has composed tunes for a couple of Telugu films, is in charge of the music. Niranjan Babu wields the camera while Ravi Verma and Kaurava Venkatesh are in charge of the stunts.
