'Moggina Manassu' on top

'Moggina Manassu', a teenage love story, has bagged a maximum of five awards at the 56th Idea Filmfare awards ceremony recently held at Hyderabad. The film bagged the awards for best film, best director (Shashank), best actress (Radhika Pandith), best actor in a supporting role (Yash) and the best actress in a supporting role (Shubha Poonja) categories.

There was a tough competition between 'Moggina Manassu' and 'Gaalipata' and the latter managed to garner three awards--the best actor (Ganesh) award, the best music director (Harikirshna) and the best lyricist (Jayanth Kaikini) awards.

Sudeep and Ramya starrer 'Mussanje Maathu' won awards in the music departments. The best playback singer categories for both male and female went to Sonu Nigam and Shreya Goshal respectively.
