Ganesh turns producer!

'Golden Star' Ganesh is all set to don a new role, that of a producer. The actor has launched his home production titled 'Golden Productions' and will be producing a film 'Maleyali Jotheyali'.

The movie is being scripted and directed by Preetham Gubbi of 'Mungaru Male' fame. This is the second film of Preetham as a director, 'Haage Summane' being first. Preetham was supposed to direct 'Mungaru Male-2' with Ganesh last year. But somehow things didn't work out as Ganesh was busy with his prior commitments.

Harikrishna is the music director and Krishna of 'Mungaru Male' will be the cameraman. The search for heroines is still on and sources say, two popular heroines from Hindi and Telugu will be acting in this film.

Ganesh was supposed to launch his home production company last year itself, if everything had worked out. Ganesh's friend, actor-director Nagshekhar, was supposed to direct a Ganesh film titled 'Murali Mohan Wanted Girls' for Golden productions. But the film has not materialised. Ganesh is in desperate need of a hit after three consecutive flops.
