Manju's dreams shattered again!

Producer K Manju has always wanted to make his mark as an actor in Kannada. It seemed he was about to make it in style as he was cast in the role of a don in 'Kichcha Huchcha', a remake of Tamil super hit 'Chittiram Pesudadi'.

But, in the face of stiff opposition from his family members, Manju decided to change his decision. He is now being replaced by noted journalist Suresh Chandra.

This is not the first time Manju has been blocked on his way to become an actor. Manju was supposed to star as a hero in 'Auto Manja' produced by himself. Recently He was supposed to make an appearance in Puneeth Rajkumar's 'Raaj - The Showman' as a producer. But his wife prevented him from doing so.

When Manju announced recently that he would be playing a don in his own film, the first question the media persons asked him was whether he had his family's permission to do so. Manju replied that his family had nothing to do with his acting and he is free to do what ever he likes. Director Gurudutt said it was his wish that Manju play a prominent role in the film. He even said that he had taken up the direction of the film on one condition that Manju should act in the film.
