Seven well known authors have been roped in to play politicians in 'Kallara Santhe'. The film stars Yash and Haripriya in the lead.

Basavalingaiah, Prahlad Betageri, Siddalingaiah, Hanumantaiah, Chandrashekharaiah, Gudibande Nagaraj, Chandrashekhar Mahamane are the authors who have applied greasepaint for the film.

"We wanted some new faces which have resemblance to some real life characters. We thought of casting stage artistes earlier. Finally we zeroed in on some authors who have such a resemblance to some real life politicians," says Agni Sridhar, the scriptwriter of the film.
