Kasaravalli back with 'Kanasugala Kudureyaneri'
Fresh from bagging a National Award for 'Gulabi Talkies', Girish Kasaravalli is all set to start his new venture, 'Kanasugala Kudureyaneri'.
The film, based on Amaresh Nugadoni's novel 'Savaari', is about a gravedigger and his dreams. Basanth Kumar Patil, the producer of Kasaravalli's 'Nayee Neralu' and 'Gulabi Talkies', makes the film. Though Kasaravalli was supposed to do the same film for Reliance Entertainment Limited, things got changed later and Basanth Kumar Patil stepped in as the producer.
Kasaravalli repeats his 'Gulabi Talkies' heroine Umashri in this film. Biradaar, known for his drunkard roles, is playing the main lead opposite Umashri.
Music director Isaac Thomas Kottukapalli and cameraman S Ramachandra, regulars in Kasaravalli films these days, have been replaced by V Manohar and H M Ramachandra respectively. The film is expected to go on floors on September 25.
