Meera Jasmine replaces Radhika

Meera Jasmine has replaced Radhika as Shivarajkumar’s sister in ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’.

Radhika had played sister roles in Shivarjkumar movies like ‘Thavarige Baa Thangi’ and ‘Anna Thangi’. Director Saiprakash, who announced ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ a couple of years back, had approached Radhika then for this film with brother-sister affection as the central theme.

However, the project got delayed by more than a year; by the time, Radhika had bid goodbye to the film industry too. It was then that Saiprakash zeroed in on Meera Jasmine.

The shooting for the film has already commenced and the actress will be participating in the second schedule to be held in June.
