Meghana debuts with 'Punda'

Meghana, daughter of actors Sundarraj and Pramila Joshai, is all set to make her debut through Yogeesh starrer 'Punda'. The film is a remake of Tamil hit 'Polladavan', starring Dhanush and Divya in the lead. Earlier, Haripriya was paired opposite Yogeesh. Later Akanksha from Mumbai stepped into her shoes. Now, Meghana hasbeen confirmed as Yogeesh's heroine.

Though this is her first attempt in Sandalwood, Meghana has already acted in K Balachander's 'Krishna Leelai' opposite Jeevan. She has also acted in E V V Sathyanarayana's 'Bendu Apparao' opposite Allari Naresh in Telugu. Meghana has also signed another Tamil film, 'Enga Veetu Pillai', opposite Bharath.

Meghana was supposed to make her debut in Kannada with Yogeesh starrer 'Padde Huduga' to be produced by 'Ashwini' Ram Prasad. However, the film was postponed.
