Raagini out of 'Shouryam' remake!

Raagini, who has done an item song recently for Prakash's 'Gokula', has been sacked from the Darshan film, a remake of Telugu hit ‘Shouryam’. The ouster of the female lead means that the film would be delayed again. The film was to start on October 20.

Darshan did not like the idea of having his heroine doing in an item number and so advised his producers to change her. The producers are in a fix as they have already given an advance to the actress.

Raagini, undisturbed by all this, says, 'It doesn't mean that I am featuring in a steamy number. It's a catchy and energetic song with good beats. I liked the situation and that is the reason why I opted to act in the item number,” says Raagini.

Though Raagini has lost a chance to act with Darshan, she has bagged another film in 'Shankar IPS'. Sources say, Raagini has also signed a Tamil film.
