Ramya says no to 'Sharapanjara'

Ramya says that she is not at all interested in doing the lead role in the remake of 'Sharapanjara'. "The film is one of the classics of Kannada cinema. I don't want to touch such a film. Nobody has contacted me as of now and I am not doing that even if anyone comes and approach me," said Ramya.

Recently, debutant director addressed a press gathering and expressed his plan to remake 'Sharapanjara' based on the novel by late Triveni and directed by late Puttanna Kanagal. He also expressed his wish to cast Ramya in the role of Kalpana. Though Raghu had not contacted Ramya regarding this, he expressed the confidence to convince Ramya to portray the character.
