Rashmi replaces Nayantara!

Rashmi, who featured in the 'Duniya', has replaced Nayantara in 'Swaranjali', says its director Srinivas.

One of the most sought after actresses in South India, Nayantara was his first choice for the female lead in the film, claims the director. He says he had met the actress in Chennai and spoke to her about his film. The actress liked the story and agreed to act in his film for a meagre Rs 14 lakh. But she couldn't make it because of date hassles, says Srinivas.

Rashmi is said to have stepped into the shoes of Nayantara for a remuneration much less than what Srinivas had offered Nayantara.
