Shirin replaces Nikitha

Though her role in the recently released 'Yogi' was not something to write home about, Shirin has been selected as the female lead in 'AK 56', directed by Omprakash Rao. She replaces Nikitha in the film.

Nikitha had earlier acted in Omprakash Rao's 'Yodha', opposite Darshan. AOnce the film was over, there were rumours that Nikitha was upset over Omprakash Rao's allegedly indecent behaviour towards her. It was also heard that Nikitha complained to some prominent industry persons regarding that. But both Omprakash Rao as well as Nikitha rubbished these reports and maintained that they were still friends.

To prove this, the duo came back together with 'AK 56'. Things were fine between the two in the beginning and sources say, their friendship turned sour after the first schedule of the shooting.

Shirin has already stepped into Nikitha's shoes and shooting for the film is going on.
