Disturbing scenes: Shivanna says sorry

Not every actor has such guts when it comes to accepting his own faults as Shivarajkumar. Not only he accepted his mistakes in front of media friends, but said sorry for a few disturbing scenes in the film, 'Hodi Maga'.

Two scenes from his recently released ‘Hodi Maga’, particularly the scene where a policeman urinate on Shivarajkumar's face and the other scene where Shivarajkumar drinks the "Chitha Basma" of his sister in the film came in for much criticism. Most of his fans felt that Shivarajkumar should not act in such scenes.

Shivanna said, "I had doubts about the scene where a policeman urinates on my face. The crew said that the scene is inspired from Kamal Haasan starrer 'Mahanadi' and would be a big hit with the audience. I couldn’t say no to it. And as for the other scene, it was me who gave the idea of the Chitha Basma drinking scene. I just wanted to show the height of brother-sister affection through that sequence. Many liked the scene during the discussion, but I heard that it did not gel properly with the audience."

Shivarajkumar not only said sorry for those disturbing scenes but also said that he would be very careful in future when it comes to story selection.
