Shivanna in 'Devaru Kotta Thangi'

Saiprakash, known for his tearjerkers, is back with 'Devaru Kotta Thangi', a film based on brother-sister relationship. The film stars his favourite hero Shivarajkumar in the role of the brother and Meera Jasmine plays his sister. Monica is the female lead.

This is the 9th film from Shivarajkumar-Saiprakash combo. The duo has given hits such as 'Thavarige Baa Thangi', 'Gadibidi Aliya', ‘Thavarina Siri’, ‘Gadibidi Krishna’, ‘Bhaagyada Balegaara’ and ‘Anna Thangi'.

Radhika was a regular as a sister in Shivarjkumar’s previous movies like ‘Thavarige Baa Thangi’ and ‘Anna Thangi’. Director Saiprakash had approached Radhika first for 'Devaru Kotta Thangi', but the project got delayed by more than a year and by then Radhika bid goodbye to the film industry.

Hamsalekha has composed the lyrics and songs for the film while Giri is the cameraman. B A Madhu has written the dialogues.
