'Harikathe' is now 'Srihari'!

Dayal's most ambitious venture, 'Harikathe', has been renamed as 'Srihari' with a tagline, 'Its Harikathe'.

Earlier Dayal was supposed to produce the film through his 'D' films. Later, veteran producers such as N Kumar and Chinnegowda (father of actor Murali) joined the team as co-producers. Sources say, the new producers thought that the title is not a commercial one and won't suit Murali's image and hence urged Dayal for a title change. Dayal was not willing to let go of the title and has used it as its tagline.

Pooja Gandhi is doing her first negative role in this film. Her sibling Radhika Gandhi is also doing a major role. Dayal says that the film is based on mind-travel and reality.

For the first time in his career, he has opted for another dialogue writer, Prasanna of 'Sixer' fame. Dayal introduces Rakesh and Sameer Kulkarni as cameraman and music director respectively.
