Suhasini to direct Kannada film?

Suhasini Mani Ratnam is all set to direct a Kannada film next year, say our sources. Though she has not yet confirmed the news, she did not deny it also.

"Dr Vishnuvardhan has always been telling me to take up direction and I kept on refusing citing my son's education. Now that my son has reached the university, I may take up direction of a Kannada film by next year," said the charming actress. She was recently in Bangalore to dub her portions for 'Eradane Madhuve' directed by Dinesh Baboo.

Suhasini has already directed a film called 'Indira' long ago and has been involved in Maniratnam's films in various capacities. This is the silver jubilee year of acting for Suhasini. She made her debut in Kannada through 'Benkiyalli Aralidha Hoovu' in 1984.
