The wait for the special film to mark Jaggesh's silver jubilee in films is over. Thanks to Jaggesh's extraordinary performance and Guru Prasad's rib tickling dialogues, 'Eddelu Manjunatha' makes for non-stop laughter.

The film is about Manjunath, a lazy drunkard, who talks non-stop. Despite his parents and wife trying their best to reform him, Manjunatha continues to be a headache for the family. The crux of the film is about how Manjunath transforms himself into a responsible individual.

Director Guru Prasad has seen to it that Jaggesh does not follow his old mannerisms. Though Jaggesh utters his dialogues with a straight face and underplays his role, his talent is such that the audience erupts into laughter. Credit goes to his perfect timing. Some dialogues go overboard and may sound vulgar, but one cannot stop laughing till the climax.

The climax of the film is melodramatic. Guru Prasad, who shot to fame with 'Mata' starring Jaggesh, has once again hit the bull’s eye with this comedy caper.

Yajna Shetty proves she is a talented actress. Tabla Naani essays the role of a blind person.

Songs set to tune by Anoop Seelin are hummable. 'Eddelu Manjunatha', 'Prapanchave', 'Kshamisu Gandase' are already a hit with music lovers.
