Ramesh Aravind-Komal starrer 'Mooru Guttu Ondu Sullu Ondu Nija' (Three Secrets One Lie One Truth) is a typical Dinesh Baboo film in that it is not only a low budget one, but high in quality. True to its name, the film is an out and out entertainer.

The story is about a couple going on a pilgrimage to Tirupathi just for a day. They leave behind a son and three daughters to take care of their mansion. The wayward son Siddhu (Komal) and two daughters Ramya and Soumya decide to spend the night with their friends during the night. But a stranger called Appu Gowda (Ramesh Aravind) enters the house and creates a big ruckus and spoils all their plans. Who is Appu and what the three secrets, one lie and the one truth that is haunting the entire family are revealed at the end.

'MGOSON' is entertaining from the beginning till the end. Dinesh Baboo reserves the last ten minutes to bring a twist in the tale. The rest of the film is enjoyable with some very fine performances by Ramesh Aravind and Komal. Ramesh is at his sentimental best after a huge gap. Even Srinivasa Murthy who appears on screen for a very few minutes has given a commendable performance.

The negative part of the film is its slow narration. Not only that, Baboo tries to elicit a few laughs from the viewers by making the characters getting slapped. The loud dialogue delivery of Ramesh and Asha Latha leave a lot to be desired. Looks like Baboo is of the opinion that every villager speaks loudly.

Another highlight of the film is debutante music director Suma Shastry's background scores. Another debutante Nancy Thakkar impresses with her fine performance. Sharan and Mandya Ramesh are wasted in cameos.

'MGOSON' is a clean comedy with some heart touching moments.
