Old wine, old bottle!
Genre - Action Directed by - Sudeep Produced by - Dinesh Gandhi Music by - M M Keeravani Casts - Dharma, Vanishree, Manoj, Tennis Krishna, Dinesh Gandhi and others Starring - Sudeep, Raagini Actor Sudeep is back as a director with 'Veera Madakari'. Though he has Telugu superhit 'Vikramarkudu' to bank upon, Sudeep has not succeeded in making an engaging film. The film has too many boring moments. No doubt, the film is old wine in a very old bottle! But, he essays two diverse roles with passion and is the highlight of the movie.
Veera Madakari is a typical masala film that would be a feast to the mass audience. Sudeep plays a double role for the second time in his career. One is Mutthetti Sathyaraju, a fraudster who is forced to take care of a child. Later Sathyaraju comes to know that she is the daughter of an honest ACP, Madakari.
Sudeep sings the song "Jink Thaka", for the film. The three-hour-long movie is a little too long for our taste and the first half has many dragging scenes. Songs, set to tune by Keeravani as in the original, are choreographed well and Raagini sizzles as the female lead.
Child ariste Jerusha Christopher brings out a fine performance. Babji, Devaraj, Dharma and Tennis Krishna provide adequate support. Songs and camera work are good.
