‘Aruvadai’ turns ‘Vande Mataram’

‘Aruvadai’, a mega-budget action film starring Arjun and Mammooty in the lead, has been renamed as ‘Vande Mataram’. Sneha plays the female lead.

Arjun plays a police officer and Mammootty, a CBI officer. Jai Akash makes a cameo appearance in the film, directed by T Aravind. Producer Henry pens the screenplay; Vidyasagar scores the music.

The film is a bilingual simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam. The film makes use of the latest technology like 3D graphics and is all set to reach theatres next January.
