Arya, Nayantara pair up in Malayalam film

Arya and Nayantara, two of the busiest actors in Kollywood, are all set to come together in a film by acclaimed filmmaker Shyamaprasad, titled 'Electra'. Both the stars, who hail from Kerala, are pairing up for the first time in Malayalam.

Arya was supposed to make his debut in Malayalam with Mohanlal starrer 'Casanova', directed by Roshan Andrews. But the film was shelved later. 'Electra' could be his debut film in his mother tongue.

In the film to be produced by Vindhyan, Nayantara will essay the title role of Electra Alexander.
