Love and dance in Banaras!

'Banaras', produced by M.R. Nair and directed by Nemam Pushparaj, is a love story set in the holy town, Banaras. Vineeth and Kavya Madhavan are in the lead. Vineeth plays a researcher in folk dances (Hari) and Kavya (Amritha), his lady love. Kavya plays a classical dancer in a feature film for the first time.

Hari leaves for Banaras to pursue his passion, folk dances, and meets Amritha there. Obviously, the film will have enough songs and dances to keep the viewers happy! M. Jayachandran scores the music; the singers include K.J. Yesudas, Sadhana Sargam and Shreya Goshal.

The cast include Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Devan, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Harisree Asokan and Suraj Vejaramoodu.
