A quiet birthday for Mohanlal!

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal shunned celebrations on his 49th birthday Thursday and spent it quietly at a hotel room. He had lost his father-in-law, filmmaker Balaji, recently and was not interested in any kind of celebrations.

On his birthday, Mohanlal was busy shooting for 'Alexander The Great'. The celebration was limited to a cake-cutting ceremony at the sets. His close fried and artiste Jagadeesh was with him on the occasion. All the members of the unit took part in the ceremony.

Mohanlal, a veteran of more than 300 films, is one of the best actors in India and has three national awards to his credit.
