Jayasurya, Roma in 'Uthara Swayamvaram'

As the title indicates, `Uthara Swayamvaram', directed by Ramakanth Sarju, is about the love affair between Prakash and Uthara. Prakash (Jayasurya), a good-for-nothing fellow, accidentally saves the life of Uthara (Roma) and falls headlong in love with her.

The supporting cast includes Lalu Alex, Salim Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Biju Kuttan, Balachandra Menon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shobha Mohan and Sukumari. M. Jaya Chandran scores the music and Salu George wields the camera.

The last time Jayasurya and Roma paired up was for 'Shakespeare MA Malayalam'. The film was a moderate hit.
