Kavya in Dileep's 'Papi Appacha'

Kavya Madhavan has joined the sets of 'Papi Appacha', starring Dileep in the lead, at Thodupuzha, Idukki. This is the first time post her disastrous marriage that she comes in front of the arc lights. The filmmakers plan to release the film during next Vishu festival.

'Papi Appacha',produced by Dileep's brother Anoop, is directed by debutant Mamas Chandran. The cast of the film includes Innocent, Suresh Krishna and Rajeev. Dharmarajan (of 'Bluff Master' fame) is being introduced as a comedian.

The old Adoor Bhasi song, "Pappi Appacha…", will be remixed for the film, it is heard. Vidyasagar composes the music; there are four songs in the film.
