Mammootty in and as 'Pramaani'

Mammootty will star in B.Unnikrishnan's next,'Pramaani'. He will be essaying the role of Raghava Panikkar, a corrupt panchayath president.

Just as in Unnikrishnan's previous superhit, 'Madambi', starring Mohanlal in the lead, the protagonist of the film will have shades of grey.

The shooting for the film is planned to begin by this year-end and is expected to reach theatres by March next. The cast includes Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Suraaj Venjaramoodu and Salim Kumar.

Unnikrishnan, a writer-turned-director, made it to the big league of directors with 'Madambi'. Earlier, he has made moderate hits in 'Smart City' and 'IG'.
