Mamta in Sathyan's next

Mamta Mohandas, one of the most sought after actresses in south India, returns to Malayalam with a Sathyan Anthikkad film. She will star in the veteran's next, starring Jayaram in the lead.

Sathyan, after scripting yet another superhit with 'Bhagya Devatha', which had Jayaram and Kaniha playing the lead, decided on Mamta as the female lead after much thought.

The names of Archana Kavi of 'Neelathaamara' fame and Kavya Madhavan were doing the rounds till recently.

Sathyan, known for his family entertainers, usually gives good roles for his heroines. Naturally, actresses feel privileged to get a chance to act in his films.
