Mohanlal's 'Alexander the Great'

Mohanlal plays the title role in 'Alexander the Great', directed by Murali Nagavalli. The superstar essays the role of Alexander Varma, a person endowed with an extraordinary IQ.

Though Alexander Varma has the intelligence to succeed in whatever he tries his hand at, misfortune dogs him. Once, he is even jailed for an offence he has not committed.

Ashwathy Ashok of 'Moss n Cat' fame is being considered for the female lead. The cast includes artistes such as Bala, Innocent, Saikumar and Jagadeesh. There will be two more leading female actors in the film.
