Hitting the headlines for wrong reasons has become a habit for Nithya Menon, one has to say. Earlier the actress was in the news for her 'disturbing comments' on top Telugu actors Venkatesh and Prabhas. Now she is at it again, this time for 'insulting' senior Malayalam producers.

Accusing the up and coming actress, who became popular in Tamil with 'Veppam' and '180', of insulting senior producers when they visited her on the sets of director T K Rajivkumar's upcoming flick at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Film Producers Association has imposed ban on her.

Recently a top producer went to meet Nithya Menon for signing her in his next film. Nithya, who was reportedly taking rest in a cottage, didn’t turn up to meet him and sent a message that her manager will look into it. The producer, who was accompanied by some of his counterparts, was shocked with Nithya’s behavior and lodged a complaint against her in Producers council.

As a result, the Kerala Film Producers Association imposed ban on the actress and passed a similar message to other South producers. General Secretary G Suresh Kumar has sent written instructions to all producers in this regard. The association has also asked the South Indian Film Chamber to impose a ban on the actress.
