Prithviraj sings for 'Puthiyamugham'

Prithviraj has never been shy of experimenting with his roles. For 'Puthiyamugham', he goes one step further: He sings for the movie! Though he was very reluctant in the beginning, he gave in to the coaxing of music director Deepak Dev.

He has sung the title song, "Suryamugham Ini Oru Puthiyamugham...", for the film. Kaithapuram Damodaran Namboothiri has penned the lyrics. Before him, superstar Mohanlal has sung quite a few songs in his films.

In Kollywood, stars singing their own songs are the latest trend. Vikram has sung for his 'Kanthasasmy', Dhanush has sung a song for 'Madrasapattinam' and Surya is all set to sing for 'Singam'.
