'Sagar alias Jackie...' for Vishu release

Mohanlal starrer 'Sagar alias Jackie – Reloaded', directed by Amal Neerad has completed shooting and is slated for a Vishu release. The film. shot at various locations in UAE and Kochi, is a sequel to 'Irupatham Noottandu' (1987), a blockbuster directed by K.Madhu.

'Sagar alias Jackie', produced by Antony Perumbavoor, has a budget of Rs 5 crore and is expected to be a stylish action thriller. Bhavana plays the female lead; Shobhana, Jyothirmayi and Meena appear in important roles.

Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Suman, Manoj K. Jayan, Ganesh, Vinayakan, Baiju, Sumeeth, Sreeraman and others form the cast. S.N. Swami, who wrote the original, has penned the script for the sequel too.
